DJ Corey Mizell

Corey Mizell is an entertainer, event organizer, party host, on-air radio personality and a DJ with over 20 years of experience. Originally from Miami / Fort Lauderdale, he has served 5 years in the United States Army, and during that time he started DJing regularly at each place of duty for his fellow troops, including an opportunity to perform for the commander at Fort Bragg NC. Now living in the Pittsburgh area, DJ Corey held the title of Pop/Urban- Music director for iHeart Radio/ WPTS 92.1 fm Pittsburgh Progressive radio station, which is one of the top 5 MTV Woodie Award winners for college radio stations in the nation. He also had a successful radio show for 5 years, The Meltdown and Culture Shock Radio that aired every Saturday Night from 7-9pm streaming live online. His musical background steams from performing as a percussionist in middle school and high school bands throughout the entire school years. His musical interest covers all genres of music. In 2014, DJed for Troy Polamalu of the Steelers and his wife Theadora’s annual charity event, and the University of Pittsburgh Chancellor and Dean Of Students. DJing has become a way of life for this Florida native and he sees no ending in sight!
